Catalog description

This course is designed to the study of the history and use of psychotropic drugs. Emphasis is given to understanding the uses of these drugs, their mechanism, side effects and the conditions under which they are used. Relationships between major neurologic and psychiatric disorders and appropriate medications are presented.
