Catalog description

The course provides an approach to the origin and historical development of the film industry. Film clips and films will be presented in their entirety from different countries around the world. On the other hand, the course addresses the study and critical analysis of films from different theoretical frameworks and disciplines of psychology, recognizing the cinema as a text of symbolic construction within a particular cultural-historical moment. In addition, it works with the influence that this artistic work has had at a sociocultural level and the meanings, assimilations and repercussions that it has built on the human being at an individual and collective level.
