USE OF FORCE AND LESS LETHAL WEAPONS

Catalog description

In this course students will learn to assess risk situations and respond reasonably using less lethal weapons whenever legal and justifiable. In addition, the course is aimed at promoting the reasonable use of force by learning the various less lethal weapons known as Chemical Agent (OC), Baton and Electrical Control Device. The student will learn the legal basis, the nomenclatu re and the effects on the body of the use of less lethal weapons. In addition, practical exercises will be carried out on the skills of using less lethal weapons and on decision -making on the use of force.
