Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamental concepts and best practices of project management and leadership. Students will explore the theoretical foundations and practical applications of communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, motivation, and collaboration as they relate to the management of projects and people. Also, they will examine the definition, analysis, life cycle, and determinants for project management success. Learners will develop competencies in establishing project parameters, assessing risk, communication management and leading teams to achieve deliverables. The course will also address ethi cal considerations and evolving global paradigms within the project management discipline. Upon completion, students will have acquired strategies for applying leadership principles, communication strategies, managing conflicts and assembling successful te ams to optimize project outcomes.
