Catalog description

Using cases, interactive discussions, and simulations, students explore patient/management of persons with cancer, including unique nutritional and exercise needs, precautions, and contraindications, as well as the value of interprofessional teams collabor ating to enhance function and quality of life for persons with cancer across the lifespan. Simulations and labs focus on exercise in special populations, including cancer survivors. Integrated Clinical Experiences or Immersion Experiences are used to incorporate theory with practice.
