CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Catalog description

Analysis of the philosophies, principles and tendencies of curricular designs for the acquisition, improvement and domain of movement skills used in the teaching of physical education at the elementary level. Students will study and apply the different cur riculum development theories from the elementary level curriculum. Emphasis on the theoretical foundations employed by the Department of Education of Puerto Rico to develop Physical Education programs at the elementary level.
