This course covers the fundamentals of nutrition, which includes the types, forms, recommended daily intake, function, metabolism, deficiency, toxicity, interactions, therapeutic use, sources, laboratory assessment and unit conversion of macronutrients (ca rbohydrates, lipids, protein and macrominerals), micronutrients (vitamins and microminerals) and accessory nutrients.
