Catalog description

Three credits. Three hours of lecture per week; 45 hours per semester. Analysis and design of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This course provides essential knowledge in the design and analysis of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Topics include psychrometric processes, indoor air quality, thermal load calculations, fluid and air distribution systems, and refrigeration cycles. The course emphasizes quantitative analysis and design aligned with industry standards, preparing students for roles in construction, utilities, and building services engineering.
