THERMAL SYSTEMS DESIGN

Catalog description

This course performs analysis and design of energy systems. Piping networks, heat exchangers, hydraulic pumps and numerical method solutions are studied. Students will use critical thinking and quantitative reasoning to analyze and evaluate the information needed to design the different systems studied in class; and at the same time achieve its optimization. In addition, they will implement the technological competence to use different computer programs to model and simulate the systems.
