1 section
Catalog description
This course uses critical thinking and quantitative reasoning to apply the first and second laws of thermodynamics in processes that include: real gases, psychometrics, power cycles, refrigeration cycles and combustion to determine their key operating para meters, such as efficiency and energy used. Students will use scientific reasoning and engineering judgment to optimize these processes while enabling them to solve problems that arise in the engineering profession.
