Application of statistical processes in the biomedical sciences. The course presents topics in descriptive and inferential statistics such as measures of central tendency, dispersion and position, probability theory, probability distributions, estimation and sample size, hypothesis testing, inference from two samples, principles of correl ation and regression analysis, issues of descriptive and inferential statistics such as presented variance and non-parametric statistics.
