Catalog description

This is a practical course on the use and understanding statistical data as it arises in many areas of study. Specifically, this course covers fundamental multivariate analysis with an emphasis on applications for business and management. Also, the course emphasizes applications of multivariate analysis from a conceptual viewpoint as well as research design. Students who complete this course will perform basic statistical computing in SPSS, SmartPLS and will have sufficient knowledge of data analysis to take upper-level applied statistics courses. In addition, students are expected to complete a project on a real data set.
