Catalog description
Study of modern supervision concepts, methods, and techniques necessary to become an effective business manager. Topics include the use of specific skills related to: goal setting, budgeting, planning, delegating, interviewing, negotiating, handling complaints, counseling employees, and evaluating employee performance. Emphasis on the development of knowledge, abilities and skills of scientific reasoning, through the analysis of complex situations. In ad dition, it includes communication competence to communicate effectively using different traditional and electronic tools. As well as, interpersonal skills, to work with and understand employees individually and in groups.
