Interrelationships between engineering, accounting and finance. Theory and practical aspects of accounting principles and financial analysis from an engineering perspective. Understanding and analysis of the three main financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, retained earnings and cash flow. Evaluation of manufacturing costs, breakdown of the price of a product, decision making in managerial accounting in engineering projects. Students will develop the accounting, finance, management decisions , quantitative, and critical thinking skills required to analyze the organization financial situation.
