Catalog description
Analysis and discussion of those important emerging issues, changes and trends in the healthcare industry. Students will be trained during the course to develop positions related to practices, models creativity and innovation in the processes of planning, controlling and acting in the provision of health services. Ethics-related issues and management skills will be presented to promote better control of daily operation and foster the development of an organizational culture based on best existing practices. The subject of demography and its importance in the health and development services of the country will be discussed. The purpose of integrating the demography issue is to temper the work plans with the needs of each region at the state and national level. Will be discuss the importance of adopting a Continuous Improvement Program in the provision of health services to ensure uniformity and effectiveness in health services will be presented. Emphasis on reading, critical analysis and case studies are included in the course.
