Catalog description
The course will study the factors and methods of analysis of the financial statements of health service organizations, allowing students to propose solutions to the risks to which health environments are exposed. Students will enter the world of finance, d eveloping skills to understand the financial market and how to attract resources to a health organization through the use of technological applications and programming in different health settings. Students will be exposed to the analysis of financial information for decision-making by applying the knowledge acquired related to coding, collections and form of reimbursement from insurers. Finally, the student will be able to use various financial indicators and coefficients for correct decision -making in the health field. Through the application of mathematical and financial concepts, students will be able to develop quantitative analysis skills to propose alternatives or solutions to possible risks in the various scenarios of health services.
