Catalog description
In this course the student will develop skills in emergency management, infection control, as well as the management of toxic substances and / or fluids. They will demonstrate mastery and knowledge of the clinical processes to which they will be exposed an d will follow infection control rules. The student will learn to identify aseptic and isolation techniques regarding the different existing health conditions, such as: influenza and other conditions that require infection control. With this course the stud ent is prepared to be able to work in different health scenarios. This course meets 30 hours of theory for one semester.
