Catalog description

It is an overview of the basics of health care assessment. It will discuss how to formulate, develop, disseminate and use evaluation in health services for decision -making. It will focus on how the evaluation should handle four very important aspects: budget, time, information gathering an d political influences. At the end of the course the student will be able to demonstrate the importance of the specialty and the most relevant models in health services. The planning components, institutional goals, budgetary development, strategic thinkin g and qualitative and quantitative continuous monitoring mechanism will be studied through the recreation of a real scenario.
