Catalog description
In this course the student will acquire the basic concepts of renewable energy systems. Global climate change, energy use and its dependence on fossil fuels, sustainable energies and a vision of current energy demand and supply patterns will be studied. In addition, the student will know the rules and regulations that govern this technology. Students will develop technological and scientific competencies that are required to analyze and design power circuits commonly found in the field of technology. Competencies in innovation in new renewable energy systems are also developed in this class.
