APPLIED INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN MODELS

Catalog description

An introduction to Instructional Design (ID) theories. ID Models will be studied, such as ADDIE model (1975); Gerlach & Ely (1980); Merrill CDT model (1983, 1994); ASSURE ISD model (1985), this model integrates the Robert Gagné instructional events (1985), the Dick & Carey m odel (1990), SOI de Mayer (1999); CLE’s de Jonnassen (1999) and the Jerrold Kemp model (2001), including emergent models of the century. This course will analyze, and implement needs assessment, improvement of performance, systematic design of materials, t eaching strategies, and evaluation, both formative and summative, of instructional materials, through the development of information skills, critical thinking, and content creation.
