Catalog description

This course presents various methodologies for evaluating and managing risks from environmental contaminants and technological hazard. The course introduces basic concepts of environmental risk assessment, risk assessment methods, and risk perception, including characterization and quantification of human health impacts, and evaluating ecological risk. It also describes legislative and regulatory initiatives that are basic for decision making on risk assessment.
