Catalog description

Study of basic principles involved in developing a website, from layout to programming forms containing data. Emphasis on an object -oriented programming approach to design and modular reusable software to solve engineering and mathematical problems. Development of applications in PHP or ASP.NET, using tools and technologies with coding activities that enhance the performance and scalability of the websites and mobile applications. The course will be based on problem -solving assignments and programming projects, an oral presentation supported by technology, among others, to develop higher thinking processes such as scientific and quantitative reasoning, and critical thinking. One semester, 3 credits hours of lecture per week.
