Catalog description

Three credit -hours. Three hours of lecture per week. This course presents the analysis and design techniques of modern digital signal processing for a wide variety of applications. The course will cover discrete-time signal analysis, fast Fourier transforms, and the design and implementation of digital filters. Students will use computer tools a nd their analytical skills to analyze and design filtering applications typically encountered in audio signal and image processing.
