ADVANCED LINEAR SYSTEMS
Ana G. Mendez University · UGRD · Fall 2026
1 section
Catalog description
Three credit-hours. Three hours of lecture per week. This course provides the mathematical foundations of system theory that play an important role in control, communications, signal processing, information theory, networks and Internet applications, among others. Specifically, this course will delve into the theory of linear dynamical systems in both continuous and discrete time. A strong background in linear algebra is required. Students will apply scientific and quantitative reasoning to analyze linear s ystems that model the behavior of such systems encountered in aerospace, automotive, and other industrial applications.
