Catalog description

Professional counseling works with the mental health of the individual. This course aims for the counseling student to know the psychological pathology of the disorders that are described in the DSM-5. The students will learn the origin of the pathological etiology of the different disorders, their history through time to the present and the disciplines that share this science. They will know the characteristics of these disorders, their symptoms. Also, will work with updated research on these disorders. They will be identified through case studies and film analysis.
