Catalog description

This course offers the student future teacher a panoramic vision of the role of education as a basis for the formation of man's work in society. It includes the study of the Educational System of Puerto Rico, the School as an agency for social transformation and the teacher as an agent of constructive change. Special consideration is given to teaching by competencies among which the development of critical thinking, communication, technological skills and innovation. In addition, the course has a component of clinical experience where theory is transferred to practice in a real educational setting.
