Catalog description
Know the central economic concepts that involve microeconomic and macroeconomic theories and practices, as well as analysis of concepts such as value estimation, price, distribution of resources, labor market, evaluation of resources, social empowerment and influence in the government and the economic development of countries. The above with emphasis on the society of Puerto Rico and the United States. This analysis focus es on the policy that manages the economy, taking into consideration social and political variables. That is, the study of the relationship between political power and the economy of a country. Therefore, this analysis will include not only economic variab les, but also psychology and politics. This will help understand how governments make their fiscal and financial policy decisions. This course emphasizes in the development critical thinking, quantitative reasoning and information skills competences.
