Catalog description

Study of the social elements that create cultural diversity in society; such as age, gender, sexual preference, religious preference, socioeconomic status, race, ethnic origin, and lifestyles, and their curricular implications. Reflection and analysis of the historical change that occurred in early education related to the integration and diversity of the family composition. Emphasis on the development of knowledge, skills and abilities for critical thinking and ethics and diversity, through the analysis of social problems, that allow the future educator to design teaching strategies for al l the diversity represented in their classroom. It includes the assessment of the knowledge and cultural experiences that each family contributes to the educational, socio-emotional and linguistic development of the child.
