This course is designed to provide in -depth discussions in hematology, clinical blood chemistry, urine analysis, cytology, fluid balance, electrolytes and acid -base. The course emphasizes what tests to request, when to request them in the course of the disease, how to interpret and evaluate the results. The main objective is to relate the anomalies identified by the laboratory procedures with the dysfunctions or injuries of the organs.
