Catalog description

This course focuses on the use of dental and craniofacial imaging as an important diagnostic aid in the dental treatment. Principles of radiographic interpretation of bone, craniofacial, dental, periodontal anatomy, as well as the main pathologies and normal variations seen, are required for skill development of intra and extra oral radiographic techniques. The principles of radiobiology, dental radioprotection, and different imaging aids currently used in dental practice are also disclosed during the course.
