This course studies history from literary texts. It aims to examine the construction of literary narrative from a historical perspective. It analyzes the social reality beyond the text and interweaves the extra -textual reality of both the writer and the reader. It also analyzes the narrative structure of the story, and examines history and literature as a cultural artifact.
