This course addresses the study of gender from a cultural perspective. This involves an interdisciplinary approach from which key concepts about the discipline are explored, such as the construction of gender and sexuality identities, their ideologies, policies and representations. Theoretical, biological concepts and historical perspectives on the cultural construction of gender and sexuality identities are analyzed.
