Catalog description

This course provides the prospective counseling psychologist with the opportunity to enhance the clinical competencies needed to deal with the diagnosis, conceptualization, and development of a psychological intervention plan, as well as with counseling and psychotherapeutic interventions, outlined in the code of ethics of the profession. A minimum of 300 hours of clinical practice that include 250 hours at the practicum center, 30 hours of course meeting for didactic training, a minimum of 10 hours of research experience and a minimum of 10 hours of activities related to social justice and professional development primarily organized by UAGM Gurabo Psychology Student’s Associatio n are require.
