Study of the anatomy, functions and different types of skin. Common skin diseases and disorders are discussed, in addition to the main categories of existing skin care products. Emphasis is placed on the development of critical thinking skills and competencies that allow the student to provide the skin care service that the client needs, taking into account the necessary measures to avoid infectious di seases and ensure the safety and well -being of the client and staff at all times. These competences are developed through demonstrations and practical laboratory exercises.
