USE OF VOICE AND PROJECTION

Catalog description
This course is an approach to vocal technique and the development of skills for verbal communication in telecommunications settings. The anatomy and physiology of the production and projection of the voice is approached, in a practical and theoretical way. It develops body awareness and understanding of the relationship between the body and the voice. The student will work on aspects of diction and expressive resources to achieve a compelling communication that instills credibility, clarity and accuracy for the message to be broadcast. At the end of the course, the student will be able to perform with greater security in different audiovisual formats such as voice over and conduction for television and digital media.
