AUDIO PRODUCTION I

Catalog description

An introduction to sound production and editing, this course also describes the characteristics of sound and how the human brain understands it. It emphasizes in the difference between analog and digital sound, as well as in the use of the basic equipment needed for audio recordings and productions such as microphones, cables, connectors, mixing consoles, speaker systems, audio processors and the production studio, amo ng others. Students will develop the ability to handle the basic equipment for an audio recording.
