Catalog description

Study of the main issues related to the process of designing plyometric training programs. The following concepts will be discussed: (physiology and mechanics of plyometrics, design of needs analysis programs, mode, intensity, frequency, recovery, volume, duration of the pr ogram, factors related to the age of adolescents and master category athletes and others form of resistance training, plyometric and aerobic exercise and safety problems in the pre-training evaluation of the athlete, technique, strength, balance, physical characteristics and equipment and facilities. The student will be able to use critical thinking to analyze the different types of plyometric exercises with the lower hemi body and plyometric exercises with the upper hemi body, this for the improvement of p erformance in athletes, sedentary or active people. This helps to solve or understand possible problems that occur in a sports or personal training program.
