Catalog description
This course presents regulatory frameworks to commercialize new biotechnological products and protect consumers and workers from the risks that these products pose, from a legal perspective. In addition, it is intended to strengthen students' understanding of the ethical aspects that ap pear when biotechnologies are developed and applied. Students learn a systematic and nuanced way of reasoning and find well-founded answers to questions about how society and individuals should act during the development and application of different technologies. The course aims to make students aware of the laws and regulations that regulate biotechnical research and development activities.
