Catalog description

The genetics course covers major topics in the field: Mendelian genetics, molecular genetics, recombinant DNA technology, and population genetics. Emphasis will be given to molecular genetics as the theoretical framework upon which the principles of the re st of the subdisciplines within genetics, including classical and modern genetics. The course consists of 45 hours of lectures and 45 hours of laboratory.
