Catalog description

This course is designed to provide a foundational knowledge in digital retail technology and how it is used by retailer, both large and small. As technology has changed the landscape of retail processes, it has also created a necessity for decision-makers to have the ability to use various methods to evolve in the global retail market. Students will learn how to use predictive analytics to help organizations problem-solve retail objectives. In addition, students will explore new ventures retailers are taking to overcome challenges in the market place through implementing digital inventory and supply chain management. Students are introduced to the trends and challenges of new technology including augmented reality, enhancing the customer experience, smart enabled equipment, and product customization.
