Catalog description

This course studies the concepts and applications of jQuery using multi-browser JavaScript® language. This course will be taught from a mixture of analytical and practical methods. Topics include JavaScript, React.JS, Model View Controller architectural pattern, Angular.JS, the Document Object Model (DOM), Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), events, animations, and plugins. The student will use jQuery to conduct and apply jQuery’s traversal methods, DOM manipulation, perform AJAX calls, apply popular events, write plugins, animate elements, build their own jQuery slider, and explore jQuery API documentation.
