Catalog description

This introductory web analytics course is designed for beginners who want to develop foundational skills in web analytics and data analysis using Microsoft Excel®. Students will learn how to transform raw data into actionable insights by learning how to collect data, interpret website traffic, and understand how businesses use analytics to report on website visitors. They will learn key terms and web analytics concepts, gaining reinforcement through hands-on exercises and examples that reflect the broader web analytics process taught in the course. No prior experience with data analysis or web analytics is required. This course also showcases Microsoft Excel® as a powerful and versatile tool for modern analytics tools and introductory measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
