Catalog description
In this course, students will develop an independent interdisciplinary project showcasing their acquired knowledge, academic and research skills, writing abilities, and presentation strategies. Approved projects will demonstrate the application of prior coursework, the interdisciplinary nature of the program of study, and substantial research knowledge that demonstrates the ability to synthesize and broadly integrate subject-specific and cross-disciplinary knowledge and to connect theory and application. This course also addresses capstone work by considering students’ overall academic accomplishments in light of specific personal and career goals. INTD498 is to be taken after all other Interdisciplinary Studies courses have been satisfactorily completed. A student must have SENIOR standing to register for this course. (Prerequisites: INTD310 and completion of a minimum of 105 hours towards your program)
