Catalog description

This course provides course participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to establish a classroom learning community in which they can organize and conduct effective instruction that challenges and involves adult learners. Course content will focus on effectively planning instruction or training for adults; considering the unique needs of adult learners; building a sense of community among learners; assessing learning; attending to different needs; and instructing in online, face-to-face, and hybrid learning contexts.
