Catalog description

This course addresses the moral versus legal aspects of public administration. Ethical controversies and real and hypothetical solutions to the issues will be addressed through the components of individual attributes, organizational structure, organizational culture and societal expectations. The administrator’s role in ethical decision-making will be examined along with external and internal controls. The course will offer studies in leading and building organizations of integrity and with respect for individual and group variations.
