Catalog description

This advanced course in Human Resource Management adopts a strategic perspective on various functions and tasks within the field. It is designed for students pursuing careers in human resources as well as individuals aiming to enhance their managerial and leadership skills through a deeper understanding of HR practices. The course examines the philosophical foundations of human resource management and evaluates contemporary practices that support organizational employees. Students will examine current and future HR challenges and explore the importance of fostering partnerships between managers and HR professionals. This course will equip students with the skills to critically analyze, evaluate, and develop strategic HR practices that enhance organizational effectiveness and foster strong partnerships between managers and HR professionals. Spanish language learners may complete this course in Spanish.
