Catalog description

This course focuses on applying theoretical knowledge of strategic management, continuous quality improvement, and compliance in a health care organization. Students will examine organizational performance measures and outcomes, accreditation readiness practices, and quality management programs. Students will explore the roles of organizational leaders involved in ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. Students will be expected to create a professional development plan, based on self- reflection and assessment of the program's competency model and personal leadership and managerial knowledge and skills. (Prerequisite: HCAD698)
