This course introduces legal and ethical principles relating to business practice in the United States. Students examine the basis and influence of law on business formation, enterprise management, and business decisions. Some of the topics explored are the constitutional basis for U.S. legal system, government regulation, contracts, torts, employment issues, and corporate social responsibility.
