Legal Aspects of Business Decisions

Catalog description

This course covers the current legal obligations of corporate directors and managers under state corporate law and federal securities laws. The course also covers significant stakeholders in the governance of global public corporations, including shareholders, creditors, investment bankers, corporate lawyers, accountants, and employees. Lastly, students will focus on team performance with a wide range of influence tools to help, including: power and status, informal networks, coalitions, and persuasion.
