Data Applications for Education Technology

Catalog description

This course will examine ways and means to augment learning and teaching in the classroom through effective use of education and instructional technologies. Candidates will have the opportunity to collect, examine, analyze, interpret, and apply data to inform instruction, administration, policy, and other decisions and practice. The course explores the data and research behind engagement in the online learning environment and its impact on changing cognitive processes, memory functions, and learner attention.
